Glasgow BJJ open 2010

| Order tickets via Eventbrite: http://glasgowbjjopen2010-efbevent.eventbrite.com/We proudly invite you to the 3rd Annual Glasgow Open BJJ Tournament which will be held at the prestigious Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena on the 25th of September 2010. The event will be contested under standard IBJJF rules. The competition is open to all belt levels (white, blue, purple, brown and black) and will feature the following divisions at each belt level: - Male (Adult, Masters & Seniors)-57,5 kg/ -64,0 kg/ – 70,0 kg/ -76,0 kg/ -82,3 kg/ -88,3 kg/ -94,3 kg/ -100,5 kg/ + 100,5 kg All weight divisions will be run on a double elimination basis, losers in each round bar the final will drop into a 3rd place bracket to fight off for the bronze medal. Absolute divisions are single elimination andlimited to 32 competitors. |
Hopefully we can take a massive squad this time around and smash it!

The dates for the 2010 Gracie Invitational have been set. With the expansion on the Excel Arena in Docklands completed in late 2009, the space and facilities available for Europe’s 2nd biggest competition will go into overdrive!
Officially over 2 days, the competition will offer Gi and No Gi divisions and will be over 8 matted areas.
Registration Closes on Monday 24th May 12pm.
WHITE, BLUE, PURPLE, BROWN/BLACK BELT MALE DIVISIONS
Athletes who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their weight divisions are eligible to register for the Open Class bracket.
The athletes willing to register in the open class should register at the event administration table after having his weight division medal awarded,
according to the registration schedule. No registrations will be accepted after the registration closing time schedule.
